Parks believes in creating change through well-being of humankind - enriching the lives of children, families, and community. This is true both in the way the company operates internally as well as how our staff interacts with our outside community. Supporting the world in which we live and work is an important part of our culture. In 2017, Parks agents donated more than 11,000 hours and $187,000 supporting families in Middle Tennessee.

Raising Funds and Awareness

As individuals, teams, and offices, our agents have worked to raise funding for local Middle Tennessee nonprofits, and in doing so, have also raised awareness of the nonprofits themselves. A few of the charities that we support include the Boys & Girls Clubs, American Heart Association, Christmas for Children, Tennessee School for the Blind, and various humane associations.

Putting in the Time

In addition to fundraisers and donations, our agents also spend their personal time giving back to our community. On average, our agents spend over 11,000 hours per year volunteering with area nonprofits. Some of those include Habitat for Humanity, United Way, and local schools. Philanthropic efforts are encouraged as individual and group efforts.

Make-A-Wish

A portion of the profits from every sale goes to Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee, which strives to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening diseases. In 2017, Parks agents contributed over $100,000 to Make-A-Wish through workplace giving, individual contributions, and office events. Parks is honored to help put smiles on the faces of children in our community.
